In this case two bodies were found in an apartment with no apparent signs
of forcible entry. With this in mind, it seemed as though the suspect was a friend of the victim, or at least
known well enough to be allowed into the apartment. In the first photo there are
blood drops visible, but
no real sign of a struggle. |
In this next photo, the
ash tray shows multiple brands of cigarettes; which again
confirmed that the suspect was welcome in the home. After laboratory analysis was done on the cigarettes, the results
showed they had been saturated in "crack" cocaine. |
One of the victims, a nine year old boy, had been tied up with rope then his
throat was cut. His only crime was that he was the son of the other victim, and the fact that he was home when the
crime took place. |
In this photo the mother of the nine year old is shown as she was found. It was
originally thought that an angry boyfriend or a robbery could have been the reason for these murders. Dr. Goldberg came to a
different conclusion. A male larger than the victim should have been able to physically take down a female of 95lbs.
without the need of a blunt weapon. She was taken down with a statue, then stabbed multiple times in the
head area. With this, the conclusion was that they were killed by
a female friend during a protracted argument.
As it turned out, a friend of the victim stole
the crack from her "dealer" boyfriend, and after she was confronted by him, she tried to make the victim pay
for the drugs. This was the catalyst for the fight that ended in the murders. These murders were
caused by cocaine psychosis. |
